Loot
Rules
Philosophy:
Currently, <Pak’Cafan> follows a "Need before Greed" loot code. It is our belief that that each time one member of the guild grows stronger, the entire guild grows stronger.
Loot
Unwanted Tradable Loot: As a <Pak’Cafan> member you have access to our Guild Bank. Please share any unwanted items in the guild bank to help your current or future Pak members. Placing unwanted items in the guild bank is not a requirement of <Pak’Cafan>, however encouraged. Please read the Guild Bank Policy. Players are also welcome to sell their items in the bazaar to raise plat for themselves or others.
Hand-Me-Downs: Most items these days are attuned to your character and no longer tradable once equipped, however there are items that are able to be passed to other characters even after equipping. Though it is not a requirement: <Pak’Cafan> members are encouraged to hand a trivial item down to a lower level player to help them along their journey. For example: If you used a “Cloak of Flames” to power up your twinks, however are no longer in need of it; hand it down to member who could benefit from it. Doing this will continue to build fellowship amongst members as well as making <Pak’Cafan> a stronger guild.
No-Drop Loot: You will find yourself in many situations were there is a ‘No-drop” Item. If your current group does not need the item, and the item is going to rot, please share it with us in guild chat with a location and rot timer before it disappears.
Raid Loot: <Pak'Cafan utilizes the "Need before Greed" Policy for Raid loot and most grouped items. Upgrade items for those players will be either rolled by /random 1 1000 from the appropriate class or awarded to the player by the Guild Officer or Guild Leader.
When a multiple loot drop occurs from the raid target and a /random roll occurs: Players may only roll for 1 item when instructed by the Guild Leader or Raid Leader. Bots will not take part in rolling unless the item is a rot. Each item will be announced 1 at a time and the rolling will occur. If the item is not a significant upgrade for you and could greatly benefit another <Pak’Cafan> member, please defer and roll on a different item. Double rolling should never be an issue with <Pak’Cafan> members; however it will not be tolerated and dealt with swiftly if it occurs.
Players in <Pak'Cafan> are not corrupted by loot and though raiding will be in our near future, it certainly is not the “only” component in <Pak'Cafan>.
Epics and other quests: Nothing
prohibits a group of friends from helping each other with epics and other
quests. However if it involves requiring full guild help, a loot value may
be assigned. Items at guild events will be rolled as described above, and by
progression in completing the quest.
I do encourage you to read this thoroughly. Failure to follow these polices can lead to your application being closed. If you have any questions, feel free to PM or send an officer a tell.
